Hello.
My name is Darragh, and I’m a writer. Books, newspaper articles, plays, film scripts. Also lists of stuff needed in Lidl, notes to myself on the back of my hand, and wild-eyed diatribes about various public figures, scrawled in blood across a torn shirt that once belonged to a madman.
I’ll deny that last one if asked, though.
This is my website. Here you’ll find stuff about me and my work.
Come on in. Snoop around. Read things. Post up comments. Make yourself at home. If you feel like making coffee, just be aware that the kettle’s automatic “off” switch is broken so you’ll have to do it manually.
Thanks, hope you enjoy.

Hi Darragh,
While doing some research for the launch of my book, I stumbled upon your article Finnegans Wake nonsense from 9 Mar 2010.
I have been ploughing through Finnegans Wake for several months, weeding out the foreign language idiosyncrasies’ and streamlining Joyce’s sibylline prose.
My aim was to combine the most enigmatic book in English literature with its most beautiful one (the Kelsey-Chaucer).
After all that hard work I’m still in doubt if this novel was a work of genius or the most elaborate literary hoax since the Ossian tales.
If you would like to have a peep at it, I made an ARC available at NetGalley under this link: https://www.netgalley.com/catalog/book/358599
